Michael Scott Beeles, 57, of Greenwood, died on Sunday, May 14, 2017, in Greenwood. He was born on March 30, 1960, in Clarksville, to Charles and Ann (Henn) Harris.
He worked for FedEx and was the driver for Greenwood Park Mall. Michael was also the founder and owner of In Control Pest Solutions. He served various positions in numerous fire departments; serving at the Clarksville Fire Department and twelve years at the Greenwood Fire Department. While there he served in several positions, including Captain. He was an EMT for Methodist Hospital. He ran for State Senate and Greenwood City Council, was president of the Chainbreakers Kart Club at the Whiteland Raceway Park. He enjoyed fishing, collecting commemorative bottles and political memorabilia, all forms of racing, especially NASCAR, and reading books about bugs. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Beeles of Greenwood; his children, Michelle (Matthew) French, Josiah Neace, Cory Beeles, Wesley (Amber) Beeles, Victor Viveros, and Theresa Viveros all of Indiana, two sisters, Debbie (JR) Dickey and Cheri (Danny) Keller both of Indiana, his grandchildren, Hayden Beeles, Gabriel Neace, Kinsley Beeles, Kayden and Kendall French, and several nieces and nephews.
The family will be conducting a funeral at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2017 at Jessen Funeral. Whiteland Chapel, 729 N. U.S. Hwy. 31. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m., until the time of the service, at the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
