David William Coulombe, 65, of Whiteland, passed away Tuesday, July 16, 2019.
He was born to William and Mary (Bibe) Coulombe on January 9, 1954 in Indianapolis. He married Joy (Bazoon) Coulombe on July 12, 1974 in Indianapolis.
David is survived by his wife of 45 years, Joy (Bazoon) Coulombe of Whiteland; his three brothers, Michael Coulombe of Mooresville, Daniel “Joe” Coulombe of New Palestine, and Paul Coulombe of New Palestine; several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
David was preceded in death by his parents, William and Mary (Bibe) Coulombe; and his two sisters, April Phelps, and Anna Bennett.
David worked 22 years for Carlisle Tire and Rubber, formerly INDUS Wheel. David was a Machinist with Rolls Royce, retiring in 2018.
David was a very bright man who loved his family and was known to be a great friend. He kept his family involved, enjoyed going to parties and visiting with friends. David was known to quote his favorite saying, “I may not always be right, but I’m never wrong.”
Memorial contributions may be made in David’s honor to Gleaners Food Bank.
The family has requested that no lilies be sent in remembrance of David.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 21st from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Jessen Funeral Home, 729 N. U.S. Hwy 31, Whiteland, IN 46184. A celebration of life service will be Monday, July 22nd at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
