Delford L. Dunn, 64, of Franklin, Indiana passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2019 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
He was born on December 10, 1954 to the late Max O. Dunn and Catharine (Harris) Dunn.
Delford proudly served his community on the Amity Volunteer Fire Department with over thirty years of faithful and dedicated service. He acted in many roles at the fire department, including; former Chief, and at his passing he held the position of President of the Board.
Delford was a Project Manager for Bastin Logan Water Services, he has been with the company since 1983. He was the co-founder of the 4H Shooting Club of Johnson County. He was a member and instructor of the NRA and enjoyed; camping, hunting and cruises, and he loved his dog Skunk.
He is survived by his loving wife, Maureen Dunn of Franklin; his three children, Shelley (Rickie) Lucas of Morgantown, Sabrina (Jeremy) Hunter of Clifford, Blake (Jenny) of Nashville; eight grandchildren, Zach Dunn, Dayden Lucas, Audric Dunn, Savana Jackson, Sierra Dunn, Zander Lucas, Teagan Hunter, Phoenix Dunn and a great grandchild, Ryan Dunn.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Jessen Funeral Home-Whiteland Chapel with burial at Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, September 6, 2019 at the funeral home.
