Gerald Lee Lowe, 76, of Greenwood, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2018. He was born to Mary (Barley) Lowe on January 8, 1942 in Corydon, Indiana.
Gerald married his lifetime sweetheart, Nancy (Green) Lowe on December 30, 1965 in Corydon. Gerald was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a chemical analyst for National Starch and Chemical for 40 years, retiring in 2007. Gerald loved spending time outside. He enjoyed setting out art decorations in the yard. Gerald loved watching sports. He also collected 3 Stooges memorabilia. Gerald loved spending time with his family.
Gerald is survived by his wife of 52 years Nancy Lowe of Greenwood; his two children, Gerald Edward (Elizabeth) Lowe of Springhill, Fl, and Jennifer (Russell) Bandy of Greenwood; and two sisters, Shirley Casey of Louisville, Ky, and Jeanie (Jeff) Briscoe of New Albany.
Gerald was preceded in death by his mother, Mary (Barley) Lowe; his brothers, Charlie Lowe, Wayne Lowe, and Gilbert Lowe; and his sisters, Becky and Naomi.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Lords Cupboard, 606 Banta St, Franklin, IN 46131, in honor of Gerald.
A visitation will be Friday, September 28, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Jessen Funeral Home, 729 N. U.S. Hwy 31, Whiteland, IN 46184. A service will be Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
