Jimmie Joe Bruner II, 47, was born on July 9, 1971 in Indianapolis, Indiana. Lived in St. Petersburg, Florida for 25 years. Passed away August 22, 2018.
Jimmie leaves behind his sisters, Beverly Killen, Tricia Parker, and Tammy DeVoss (Leon DeVoss, Jr.); his twin brother, Jammie Joe Bruner; his father, Jimmie Joe Bruner; step-mother, Nancy Bruner; many aunts and uncles; nieces and nephews; many cousins; his best friends, Alfred D’Amico and Donnie Fussell; and his beloved cats, Pete, Bella, and Scary Carrie. He had many friends in the Indianapolis area.
Jimmie was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Jean Hardcastle; his sister, Sharon Kay Bullington; brother-in-law, Dan O. Killen; and his nephew, Dale Jean “DJ” DeVoss.
Jimmie loved going on cruises. He enjoyed going to the beach whenever he could. Jimmie loved his cats, they were his babies. He loved talking on the phone to all of his family, just to check in and see what everyone was up to. Jimmie was a sweet and loving person. He sincerely loved everyone he met. Jimmie was a veteran of the United States Army.
A memorial service will be Saturday, September 1, 2018 at 7 p.m. at Jessen Funeral Home, 729 N. U.S. Hwy 31, Whiteland, IN 46184. Family and friends may visit from 4 p.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Jimmie will be laid to rest at Memory Garden Cemetery in Rockville, Indiana at a later date.
