Judith Ann (Nash) Eubanks, 77, of Nineveh, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019. She was born to Emmett and Nellie (Crousore) Nash on November 11, 1941 in New Castle.
Judy married her lifetime sweetheart, Samuel E. Eubanks in Indianapolis on May 10, 1957. Judy was a registered nurse for over 40 years, working for St. Francis Hospital, Methodist Hospital, and Perry Township Schools. Judy loved being a school nurse. She retired in 2006. Judy was an avid bowler and bingo player. She was a previous member of Grace Assembly of God. She was also a member of the Indiana University Alumni Association. Judy loved ladybugs and eagles.
Judy is survived by her husband of 61 years, Samuel E. Eubanks of Nineveh; her five children, Beverly Judd of Nineveh, Deborah (Brian) Hackett of Trafalgar, Brian (Denise) Eubanks of Greenwood, Bradley Eubanks of Greenwood, and Dana Eubanks of Daleville; her sister, Jeanne (Frank) Payne of Nineveh; her brother, James (Nona) Nash of Indianapolis; her eight grandchildren, Anthony Hackett, Paige Parsons, Nichole Kent, Ryan Judd, Jason Hackett, Britany Felix, Cassie Brown, and Trenton Eubanks; and her seven great-grandchildren, Bryanna and Dawson Parsons, Morgan, Brooke, and Taylor Hackett, Tyler Kent, and Aden Bernd.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Nellie and Emmett Nash, and her sister, Janice Trueblood.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Judy’s honor to St. Jude’s Children Cancer Foundation, 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105.
A visitation will be Wednesday, April 24th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a service immediately following at Jessen Funeral Home, 197 E. Jefferson St, Franklin, IN 46131. After the funeral a gathering will be held at the Waltz Shelter House, 5781 S. 450 W. Trafalgar, IN 46181.
