Perry A. Ward, 61, of Greenwood, IN. passed away at home on Friday, December 14, 2018, with his wife and children by his side. Perry remained very positive and witty throughout his courageous cancer battle. Perry was born May 1, 1957 in Fond du Lac, WI to Bill and Kay Ward.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn, his children; Ben, Michael, Jessica and his grandchild RJ; parents, Bill and Kay, siblings Wendy (Dan), Brad(Mary), Laura (Greg Bauer), Kathy(Dave), Beth(Brian), Angie(Bob), He is also survived by his mother in law, Irene Slater, brothers in law; Tom(Maryann), Dan(Ann), Bill, sister in law, Margo, and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Rose, father in law, William Slater and brother in law, David Slater, grandparents; and a nephew.
At Perry’s request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Cremation has taken place.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, Perry and Kathryn would like to pass on his passion for golf. Through that passion and hard work, Perry qualified for a scholarship provided by Evans Scholars. He attended and graduated from UW-Madison, and while there made life-long friendships with his Evans Scholars Foundation Campaign for the WI Evan Scholarship Home, One Briar Rd., Golf, IL. 60029-0301.
