Sandra (Moody) Freeman, 77, of New Whiteland, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2019. She was born to Clifford and Josephine (Murphy) Moody on August 12, 1941 in Winamac, IN.
Sandy married her lifetime sweetheart, Thomas Freeman in 1960. Sandy worked in the Human Resources Department at Sears for many years. Sandy loved going out and playing golf. She loved playing cards, her favorite being bridge. Sandy was a member of many bridge clubs. Sandy loved being around her family, especially her grandkids and great-grandkids. Sandy loved to read in her downtime.
Sandy is survived by her three children, Jeanie Freeman of New Whiteland, Lori (Ron) Harrmann of York, Nebraska, and Julie (Donnie) Rodgers of Whiteland; her sisters, Martha DePoy of Lafayette and Beth (Roger) Webster of Franklin; her brother, Larry (Joyce) Moody of Shepherd, MI; six grandchildren, Alex (Natalie) Freeman, Abby Haarmann, Shelby (Steven Nix) Skinner, Kyle Haarmann, Lucy Haarmann and Keelie Rodgers; five great-grandchildren, Lincoln, Willow, Brycen, Tanner, and Dawson; her brothers-in-law, John, Carl, and Jerry Freeman; her sisters-in-law, Joan (Mac) Byer; and several nieces and nephews.
Sandy was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Freeman; her parents, Clifford and Josephine (Murphy) Moody; her sisters, Mary Lou Corbett and Dolores Farris; and her brother, Dudley Moody.
A visitation will be Tuesday, January 15th from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. with a service immediately following at Jessen Funeral Home, 729 N. U.S. Hwy 31, Whiteland, IN 46184.
