Sue Ann (Ibaugh) Dawson-Freese, 81, of Whiteland, passed away Thursday, January 17, 2019. She was born to Homer and Doris (Wilt) Ibaugh on August 30, 1937 in Dayton, OH.
Sue worked as an expeditor for Quality Mill Supply Company. Sue loved playing poker and gambling. She loved to travel. Sue collected bears and buddhas. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandbabies. Sue was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star.
Sue is survived by her daughter, Rebecca “Becky” (Charles Sahm) Frye; her brother, James E. Ibaugh; her sister, Carolyn Brock; her grandchildren, Brooke (Thomas Thacker) Frye, Joshua Dawson, and Faith Lynch; her great-grandchildren, Jessalyn, Lanie Sue, and Kelcee Thacker.
Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Doris (Wilt) Ibaugh; her sons, Douglas and Robert Dawson; and her granddaughter, Jessica Dawson.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer’s Association, 50 E. 91st St #100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.
A visitation will be Wednesday, January 23rd from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. with a service immediately following at Jessen Funeral Home, 729 N. U.S. Hwy 31, Whiteland, IN 46184. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
