Theodore James Dodge, 68, of Franklin, Indiana passed away on January 6, 2020.
Theodore was born in Rome, New York on December 13, 1951.
At the time of his retirement, he was working as a Prep Cook for Bob Evans in Shelbyville, Indiana. However, those who loved him will remember him most as being a good man, watching golf, going fishing, shooting pool, and joining him on the annual camping trips that he so looked forward to.
Theodore always put his family first, believing that the sun rose and set on his children. He was also an animal lover, even caring for the stray kittens behind his home. But, that is where Theodore found the most joy in this life, at home, surrounded by those whom he loved and those who loved him.
There are many who are left to cherish the fond memories they have of Theodore such as, Linda James of Franklin, Indiana , Theodore's Life Partner of more than 30 years; the three children they raised together, Jaclyn James, Michael James, and Angela James all of Franklin, Indiana; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.
Theodore is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Arthur John Dodge.
The family would like to invite all who knew and loved Theodore, to join them for a Gathering, celebrating his life and the sharing of memories on January 11, 2020 in their home (1345 Pamela Drive, Franklin, Indiana, 46131) beginning at 5pm.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Jessen Funeral Home - Whiteland Chapel.
