Anthony “Tony” Ferrell, 39 years old, passed away Thursday January 16th, 2020.
Tony loved being a daddy. He loved his sons Nolan and Abram with his whole heart. He loved being outdoors, swimming, and feeding the animals with his oldest son Nolan. They loved going out and eating pizza on guys’ night. He also cherished his younger son Abram “Abey Baby”. They loved to make each other laugh. Having two sons was his dream come true.
Everyone who met Tony fell in love with his smile and infectious personality. He had a heart of gold and will always be remembered for being a goofy, fun-loving guy. He saw the good in everyone. He cherished his lifelong friendships with his high school and college friends. He loved IU basketball, Colts football, and his beloved dog Lexie.
He will be forever loved and remembered by his wife Sarah. They became college sweethearts when they met 18 years ago at Indiana University. Tony’s legacy will live on in his sons Nolan and Abram. They will always be taught and reminded what a wonderful daddy Tony was to them. Sharing in this great loss are his parents Chester and Sheryl and his sister Emily Ferrell.
He will also be dearly missed by his in-laws, Michael and Brenda Kopec, sister and brother-in-law Laura and Brian Finan.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at Jessen Funeral Home – Whiteland Chapel. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Jessen Funeral Home – Whiteland Chapel with Pastor Charlie Cash officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may take the form of donations to a college fund for Nolan and Abram. Donations will be accepted at the funeral home.
