Bobby Joe Cochran, 68, of Nineveh, Indiana, passed away on October 1, 2021 in Franklin, Indiana.
Bobby was born on January 2, 1953 in Franklin to the late Robert and Nancy Elizabeth (Long) Cochran.
Bobby worked at Arvin’s in Franklin and later was a self-employed roofer until his retirement. He was a loving father and a wonderful grandfather. He treasured every moment he was able to spend with his family. Along with creating memories with his loved ones, Bobby loved Mexican food and riding his Harley Davidson. He was always a joy to be around and was known for his contagious laughter as well as being selfless and willing to help anyone in need.
Bobby is survived by his four children, Nancy Jo (Craig) Neeley of Laurel, IN, Jessica Lyn (Bart) Smith of Shelbyville, IN, Brandon Cochran of Nineveh, IN, and Justin (Hailey) Cochran of Terre Haute, IN; his six grandchildren, Brittany Nusbaumer, Denver Caudill, Aubrey Neeley, Aiden Smith, Paislee Kasinger, and Sawyer Cochran; his great-grandchild, Grey Lee Nusbaumer; his eight siblings, Lewis (Rosie) Cochran of Whiteland, IN, Dorothy Kirby of Indianapolis, IN, Patsy Davis and Robert Cox, both of Franklin, IN, Jimmy Dale (Donna) Cochran of Whiteland, IN, Georgia Burton of Princes Lakes, IN, Timmy Cochran of Greenwood, IN, and Johnny (Barbara) Cochran of Franklin, IN.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Nancy Cochran, and his brothers, Robert Michael and Billy Wilbur Cochran.
A funeral service will be conducted on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 1:00pm at Jessen Funeral Home ~ Franklin Chapel with visitation from 11:00am until the funeral hour. Bobby will be laid to rest at Nineveh Cemetery in Nineveh, Indiana.
