Charles Pendleton, 86, of Whiteland, Indiana passed away on October 26, 2019 in Whiteland.
He was born on September 24, 1933 in Columbia, Kentucky to the late Benjamin Pendleton and Emma (Hardwick) Pendleton. Charles married Geneva Knight in 1956.
Charles enjoyed horse shoes, cutting the grass and working in the garden. He loved his bluegrass, Cincinnati Reds Baseball and I.U. Basketball. Charles was a former Volunteer Fire Fighter for the Whiteland Fire Department and a United States Army Veteran. Charles worked at Arvin Automotive where he was employed from the 1960's, retiring in the mid 1990's.
Survivors include his children, Timothy A. Pendleton of Indianapolis, Connie L. Henderson of Whiteland; brother, B.I. Pendleton of Greenwood; two grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; his sisters, Eula Brockman, Dellie Burton, Paralee Montgomery; his brother, Wilmer Pendleton, Tyler Pendleton; others include, Omer Pendleton, Lorena Weathford and Lois Curry.
Funeral arrangements will be held on Friday, November 1, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 11:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood, Indiana.
