Debbie Sue (Crowe) Howe, 61, of Bargersville, Indiana passed away on Sunday, September 20th, 2020 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Debbie was born on Friday, October 3rd, 1958 in Lawrence, Indiana to the late James Harrison Crowe and Clara Marie (Boone) Crowe.
Debbie married the love of her life, the late David Lee Howe, on Tuesday, March 10th, 1987 at The Lions Club in Lawrence, Indiana.
Debbie was employed for 11 years as a school cafeteria worker for Franklin Township Public Schools until her retirement in 2000. She loved to spend her time painting and finding unique, handcrafted baskets to add to her Longaberger collection.
Debbie is survived by her step-mother, Beulah Crowe, of Lebanon, IN; her son, James D. (Callie) Howe, of Kokomo, IN; two step-sisters, Brenda (John) Martin, of Lebanon, IN, and Beverly Straight, of Pennsylvania; her step-brother, Junior Crowe, of Lexington, KY; two grandchildren, Corbyn Bergin and Liam Black; her nephew, Robert (Lisa Cooksey) Barker, of Bargersville, IN; her niece, Shelly Barker, of Indianapolis, IN.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sister, Elva June Barker; her step-sister, Mauna J. Adams; her niece, Sherry L. Barker.
Memorial contributions may be made out to the Johnson Memorial Wound Healing Center and Fuel Church.
A funeral service will be conducted on Friday, September 25, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Jessen Funeral Home ~ Whiteland Chapel. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the funeral hour. Burial to follow at Youngs Creek Cemetery in Franklin.
