Donna Faye (Sichting) Roseman, of Indianapolis, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 23rd at St. Francis Hospital.
Donna was born on September 5th of 1946 to Maurice Sichting and Betty (Thompson) Sichting Workman in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Donna was certified as a teacher and served many years as a daycare Director for ABC Preschool. Donna held membership at New Hope Baptist in Clarksville, Indiana and transferred by letter to Grace Baptist Church of Greenwood, Indiana and then to New Whiteland Baptist Church in 2015.
She is remembered as a beloved wife, sister, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. Donna was selfless and caring toward all of her extended families. Regardless of where she was or what was going on in her personal sphere, she was always in prayer for her families: Sichting, Jackson, Byrley, Roseman, New Hope, Grace or her home church… they were all her dearest friends!
Donna is survived by her son, Nicholas (Jennifer) Byrley, and daughter, Jenise (Jeff) Sanders; her brother, David (Anita) Sichting, and sister, Belinda (Brian) Meeks; several nieces and nephews, grand and great-grandchildren.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, Donald Charles Roseman; her son, Jeffrey Jackson, and daughter, Kathy Sergent; her father, Maurice Sichting, and mother, Betty (Sichting) Workman; her twin sister, Wanda Sichting.
Donna passed just 13 days after her husband. After 37 years it seems only fitting to honor their lives and their passing in a dual service to celebrate their lives together. The family has requested, that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to National Kidney Foundation of Indiana at www.kidney.org.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, January 2nd, 2021 at 3:30pm at New Whiteland Baptist Church in New Whiteland, Indiana.
Arrangements are entrusted to Jessen Funeral Homes & Crematory ~ Whiteland Chapel.
