Leonard “Wayne” Moulton, 72, of Franklin, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 in Franklin, Indiana.
Wayne was born on May 20, 1948 in Boise City, Oklahoma to the late Calvin Leonard Moulton & Katherine (Fanscher) Moulton.
Wayne proudly served in the US Army for 22 years and later was employed by the federal government and worked in civil service for 9 years. He always took pride in celebrating the United States’ independence on the Fourth of July and observing Veterans Day in honor of fellow military veterans. Wayne was a fan of college basketball and never missed out on NCAA March Madness.
Wayne is survived by his two children, Leah Moulton of Franklin, Indiana and Stephan (Kari) Moulton of Bourbonnais, Illinois; his two grandchildren, James Moulton and Luke Moulton; his sister, Helen (Ronnie) Posey of Hereford, Texas.
A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 12:00pm at Jessen Funeral Home ~ Whiteland Chapel with visitation from 10:00am until the service hour. Wayne will be laid to rest at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois.
Per the Indiana State Governor, Eric Holcomb, and the Indiana State Department of Health's mandate, social distancing regulations are required with guests maintaining a minimum of 6 feet apart from one another. As requested by the family, masks are mandatory and must be worn at all times. No food is permitted at this time.
