Mary "Belle" (Hamner) Miller, 86, passed away peacefully at her residence in Greenwood, Indiana surrounded by her loved ones on December 28, 2020.
Mary was born August 11, 1934 in Shelbyville, Indiana to the late Bryan Hamner and Viola (Wigner) Hamner.
Mary worked as a secretary at Indiana University Purdue University Indianapolis for more than twenty years before retiring. She always looked forward to spending time with her friends and family. She cherished her role as a mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She could often be found playing card games with her friends, reading while relaxing at home, or creating memories with her grandchildren. She leaves behind warm memories that will stay with her family and friends for a lifetime.
Mary is survived by her two children; Marilyn White, of Greenwood, Indiana and Melanie Hollcraft, of Indianapolis, Indiana; her sister Reta Sethman-House, of Indianapolis, Indiana; her four grandchildren, Christopher M. Jackson, Melissa Lynch, Eleanor Grace Cole, and Gloria Elizabeth Cole; her three great-grandchildren, Merissa Lynch, Alivia Potter, and Darius Grindstaff.
Mary is preceded in death by her beloved husband; Martin P. Miller, her parents, her five brothers, and her three sisters.
No services are planned at this time.
