Obituary

Michael Lynn McTarsney Sr., 70, of Morgantown, Indiana, passed away at his residence on Wednesday, December 29, 2021 at his “Heaven on Earth” cabin in Brown County, peacefully sleeping in his recliner. His COPD had gotten worse these last two months.

He was born on June 23, 1951 to Lee Roy Sr. and Anna Mae (Thompson) McTarsney. They preceded him in death along with brothers Lee Jr., Larry I, “Tony”, and Morris, infant daughter Angela, and ex-wife Phyllis Cummings.

Survived by wife Melanie (Wilson-Adams) McTarsney, children Michael Jr., Michael II, Harley, Amanda (Nathan) Davis McTarsney, Ashley Lynn, Joe, and Erin Adams, grandkids Anthony, Logan, Trevor, Jonathan, Brandon, Zakkary, Tristan, Gunner McTarsney, Stevie and Liam Davis, Lexi, Kameron, Layla Adams, Sophia Cobb, due to arrive soon Ryker Ratliff, Lauren Holbert, Mark Mohler, Kyle, Zach, and Austin, great-grandkids Jordyn, Hudson, Jack, Harlo, Parker, Rowan, and Kylie, sisters Helen (Bruce) Throckmorton, Anna Faye (Rob) Critney, sisters-in-law Sheila and Kathy McTarsney, brothers Sherman McTarsney and David (Bellame) Ferrell.

He was a proud Vietnam War Veteran, also serving in Korea. He retired after thirty-six years of service from Arvins Franklin and Gladstone.

He loved fishing, cooking, mowing his five acres of Heaven, and his family greatly.

His Irish Wake (Memorial Party) will be held in warmer months at his Brown County home.
