Nancy Lou Weber of Indianapolis, Indiana passed away on January 27, 2021 at 6:15 am at Sarasota Memorial Hospital in Sarasota, Florida.
Nancy was born on March 1, 1935 in Middletown, Ohio to Reese and Nancy Morrison. Her mother passed away days after her birth and Nancy was reared by her grandmother, Ida Morrison. As a young woman she began her amazing career as an artist at the Cincinnati Art Academy, where she met the love of her life and fellow artist, Arthur H. Weber, Jr. Arthur and Nancy were married on September 24, 1955 and remained devoted to one another for 65 incredible years.
Nancy is survived by her husband, Arthur; her daughter, Lynn Hart and husband Rand; her daughter Katherine Griesemer and husband John, her son Bryan Weber and wife MaryJo; her son, Shawn Weber and wife Karie; 20 grandchildren; 39 great-grandchildren; her brother Lawrence Morrison, and sisters Virginia Deaten and Joyce Patrick.
Those who were lucky enough to have known Nancy, knew her as a loving, artistic, musical, compassionate, and faithful force of nature who lived life with passion and beautiful expression. The life of the party, Nancy made others feel like they were the most important person to her. She was a brilliant artist, gifted musician, devoted disciple of Jesus Christ and the great matriarch of the Weber family. A pillar of faith, she taught us to love our Heavenly Father and to love others.
We will miss the warmth of her love, the hours of belly laughs and the strength of her spirit. “Till we meet again at Jesus feet,” we wish her well in the embrace of her Savior and loved ones gone before her.
Due to restrictions with Covid-19, the family will hold a small, private burial service. When pandemic restrictions are lifted, we will hold a public memorial and gravesite dedication at a time and location to be announced - likely in Summer 2021. The family asks that flowers and expressions of love to the family be held until the public memorial.
Arrangements are entrusted to Jessen Funeral Homes & Crematory ~ Whiteland Chapel.
