William Harry Newman Jr. 63, went home to be with his Savior and King on Sept. 3, William is survived by his wife of 42 years, Lori Lea Bruce Newman, children Sarah (Craig) Wade, Joseph Newman and best friend Max the dog, three grandchildren: Maelyah, Jacob and Matthew Wade, sisters, Lisa (John) Spiggle and Amy (Dave) Burket, 3 nieces, 3 nephews, mother-in-law Barbara Dushane, brothers-in-law Dale and James Bruce and sister-in-law Linda (Mark) Griffin. He is preceded in death by his parents, William H., Sr. and Judith Anne Chapman Newman. William was born in Beech Grove, Indiana on Nov 29, 1957 and graduated from Arsenal Tech High School. He worked for Grace/Sealed Air/NovaPax for 40 years retiring in 2020. He was a longtime member of Turning Point Church in Franklin, Indiana where he loved and treasured all his brothers and sisters in Christ. William was a devoted husband, father and paw-paw. He was a happy, sociable man who loved to sing, laugh, and chase his wife around. He always had a smile on his face and a laugh in his heart. He was a gentle man and was dearly loved by all who knew him. Visitation will be held Wednesday Sept. 8, 2021 from 11 am-1pm at Turning Point Church 3600 Morton St. Franklin, Indiana with funeral at 1pm.
